Steve’s sculptures are a testament to the possibilities of sustainability with an emotional response. His innovative use of society’s waste such as sweet wrappers, champagne labels and rubber duckies bring whimsy humour to what is otherwise a very serious environmental concern.
Steve uses reclaimed bronze from Scottish fishing boat engines and aluminium sourced from cooking pots. He finds new purpose, converging to form sculptures in a dynamic and gravity defying way.
