Celebrating the 10‑year anniversary of its inaugural Artists Open House (first held in 2015), the space in 2026 now showcases the work of 19 exceptional designer‑makers, ranging from hand‑crafted jewellery and screen‑printed greeting cards to ceramic vessels, sculptural pieces, vibrant textiles and plush cushions. Each weekend in May 2026 the house opens its doors as part of the Brighton Artists Open House Festival, inviting shoppers to wander through a collection.
Nestled on the Hove Trail in central Hove, The Flamingo House – Studio & Garden blends a charming domestic interior with an expanding outdoor oasis. After a breath-taking 2025 renovation that added a new wing flowing seamlessly from indoor galleries to the garden, the venue now lets the elements become part of the artistic experience. Visitors can lounge under shade‑dappled pergolas, sample mouth‑watering food from the exotic garden café, and explore garden‑placed ceramics, sculptures, and hands‑on workshops.
