Vicky Emby is a Devon-based artist working in contemporary landscape painting and expressive monotype printmaking. Her practice is rooted in the atmospheres of the South West coast, where shifting weather and local wildlife shape both subject and mood.
She studied illustration at Brighton University, a training that continues to inform her approach to composition, mark-making and visual storytelling.
This open house presents a selection of her printed work, including A3 and A4 prints, greeting cards, makeup bags and cushions – all produced from original paintings and monotypes and thoughtfully translated onto everyday accessories.
