Janie Rangers work is as organic as most of its influences.
An avid collector of curiosities, paper memorabilia and natural detritus, she refers to these for inspiration. Whilst not drawing directly from them they inform the work creating imaginary gardens and landscapes which hover between the real and the abstract.
Brighton based artist and designer, trained in fashion and textiles and fine art. She has exhibited in many group shows in the UK and Europe as well as locally at Brighton Art Fair, Artists Open Houses and others.
